I am a mother to Angels named Amir and Aliya, a wife, sister, daughter, friend and a social worker by profession. I am an idealist at heart and for whatever reason was built to see the bright side of life. Welcome to my world. This blog was created to express my compounded grief I felt through the difficulties of multiple pregnancies which all led to miscarriages and early stillbirths. It is imperative for our society to embrace more women’s health concerns, a time for us to make a stand to advocate for the resources we want and need. I hope my posting provides a space for others in my situation to have a place to relate and express their emotions. For those of you who have not gone through the difficulties of losing a pregnancy, this will provide some insight on the emotions and feelings someone may go through with such a loss. This blog is open for everyone, not only will I touch upon pregnancy, I will work towards explaining the stages of grief and talk briefly on coping skills to deal with grief. I hope to bring awareness and education regarding the journey of pregnancy and handling loss by using my own personal experience.
